We hope to simplify hiring by managing all aspects of the process, paying careful attention to detail and managing relationships both internally and externally. From discovery and drafting the job description through negotiations and onboarding, SSA ensures a successful and smooth transition.

LIFT Fund
The Labor Innovations for the 21st Century (LIFT) Fund is a first-of-its-kind fund dedicated to supporting collaboration around new forms of worker organizing. Established in 2011 as a partnership between the AFL-CIO and philanthropic institutions, the LIFT Fund supports projects that push the edges of how worker centers and labor unions collaborate to support organizing. When the founding executive director was appointed to the Biden Administration, SSA stepped in with two week’s notice to serve as interim managing director while the organization sought its next leader. Since then, SSA has supported the search for three other senior leaders.
